before i started mixing Dubstep, i used to be a Hardstyle/Trance DJ, and although i haven’t done a Trance mix in a while, i still won’t forget my roots in Trance.

Andtherefore, i’ve decided to create a mix that close resembles the feeling of Trance in Dubstep. Something that is chilled, but also euphoric.

this mix is a mixture of Dubstep remixes of Trance music along with several Future Garage tracks that i’ve been digging lately.

this mix is a celebration of 15 years of Garage, from its humble beginnings at pirate stations to it’s present state. It also celebrates the sub-genres it creates, including 2-step, Speed Garage, Dubstep, UK Funky and Future Garage, along with some experimentation i did with Progressive House and Breaks. I made this mix as a way to get Top 40 listeners into Dubstep, as well as introducing many to the sound of Future Garage, an ambient off-shoot of Dubstep and UK garage.
